Fellow Duct Tape Marketing Coach Scott Campbell has a nice post about the importance of developing the habit of writing. As Scott points out, many people don't write because they get hung up on "writing correctly". While it's true
you can find someone to edit your writing, I'll offer another piece of advice for your consideration - Don't worry about it.
Expressing and sharing of your ideas is much more important than having perfect grammar or sentence structure. Don't let this form of analysis paralysis hold you back. The more you write, the better you will become at expressing your ideas, so start writing today.
This is one of the reasons that I encourage people to blog. Blogging is informal by nature. It is a conversation that happens to take place on line. You don't worry about editing your conversations (at least for grammar) when you are talking to someone, do you? When posting to your blog, I find it is helpful to have one specific person in mind and then to write my post as if I was speaking to that person.
I love this line from Scott's post:
"Writing creates ideas. It's rarely the other way around."
If you don't write because you think you're not creative, then start writing to become more creative.
